Here’s some photos from my home. It’s finally been a sunny day, when it’s bright enough to take some snapshots. We’re having a small plan to get this place on a magazine soon, but here’s some crocheted details.
The biggest doily ever! It’s the bedroom carpet, that has been white for months now. I was so sure I need to dye it after few weeks of use, but no need. It’s like a jewel on the floor. All furniture are from flea markets, the one I love the most in my bedroom is the old brown dressing table, it’s 40s Asko production.
This small cutie is serving as a multi container, the color is sweet peach. The old spread from a magazine I found from Amsterdam Waterlooplein flea market years ago, the vintage wooden jar is from antique market in Sofia and the lovely hand mirror from Utrecht, huge knitting needles from Nordia yarn shop and the rest from flea markets in Hämeenlinna.
This fluffy petticoat I ordered from Vivienne of Holloway, who by the way have really amazingly nice customer service. The tiny newborn’s peach dress is an old flea market find, same as the lacy panties. The dots on the background belong to my dress, the linen fabric was found from Riga, they have really nice ribbon and fabric shop there. Vintage handbag I bought from one nice boutique in Berlin, and the only crocheted item is from Lisbon. Some talented handicrafter is making silver necklace there, sadly I have no clue who is the designer.
These tennis rackets are still useful! I’m waiting for the summer to go out with my tiny niece to play. Crocheted vase belong to my Ming vase collection, it’s really sturdy and thick.
